Jim Warner

Jim Warner, Senior Publishing Fellow at Arch Street Press, was a featured panelist at the 2017 Association of Writers and Writing Programs Conference in Washington D.C. Warner’s panel, entitled “Variations on Audionarrative: The Next Wave of Literary Podcasting,” discussed how the literary podcast has evolved from the traditional interview to a burgeoning forum for writers and editors to engage a larger audience and explore ideas of craft and writing. Warner, along with five producers of ongoing literary podcasts, discussed various methods, technologies, and challenges involved in developing a concept, as well as branding, promotion, social media strategy, and maintaining momentum in crafting a compelling audionarrative.
